Terms of Use
Last updated: 8 August 2026. These Terms apply to the FORM workout-tracking and training-decision side project. By using FORM, you agree to use it responsibly and understand the limitations below.
1. Adult use
FORM is intended for adults. Do not use the service if you are not legally able to agree to these Terms in your jurisdiction.
2. Training and health risk
Resistance training and exercise involve risk. Exercise descriptions, FORM scores, warm-up ramps, load hints, estimated 1RM, readiness signals, Session Rescue, plateau analysis, training-stress estimates, substitutions, program templates and other recommendations are educational tools only.
Do not use FORM to diagnose or treat an injury or medical condition. Stop a movement that causes sharp, worsening or unusual pain, or concerning symptoms such as chest pressure, fainting, severe breathlessness or neurological symptoms, and obtain appropriate professional or emergency care where needed.
3. Decision Engine limitations
FORM's Decision Engine uses logged training history and optional self-reported inputs. A score can be wrong because inputs can be incomplete, exercise execution varies, equipment differs, estimated 1RM formulas are approximations, recovery is individual, and a browser application cannot examine you.
The training-stress ledger is deliberately labelled as a workload estimate rather than a biological recovery percentage. The goal-alignment bands are planning guardrails rather than measurements of minimum effective or maximum recoverable volume. Plateau suggestions identify possible explanations, not proven causes.
4. Programs and progression
Templates and recommendations are starting points. Users should modify exercise selection, range of motion, load, volume, rest and frequency according to experience, equipment, comfort and appropriate professional guidance. FORM may suggest conservative return-from-break loads, but these are not individualized rehabilitation instructions.
5. User-entered data
You are responsible for the information you enter, including workout logs, measurements, notes, readiness check-ins, Club display names and manual activity values. Do not enter another person's confidential information without permission. Do not falsify Club values to manipulate rankings.
6. FORM Club
If Club is enabled, public participation is optional. Do not use abusive, discriminatory, threatening, deceptive or unlawful display names or content. FORM may remove or restrict public data where necessary to protect users or operate the service.
7. Accounts and deletion
Where cloud sync is configured, FORM can create an anonymous identity and can optionally support email magic-link recovery. Keep access to your email secure. Account deletion is intended to remove the authentication identity and associated app data according to the backend design, but backups or infrastructure logs may be subject to provider retention and applicable law.
8. External links and third-party services
FORM may link to YouTube, GitHub, Supabase-hosted infrastructure or other third-party services. FORM does not control third-party availability, content, licensing, privacy or accuracy. Tutorial links are references; they do not grant you rights to redistribute third-party video content.
9. No financial charge or advertising relationship
The current project is offered without a required subscription and is not designed around targeted advertising or sale of personal data. Future material changes to this model should be disclosed in the product and relevant policies.
10. Open-source code
The FORM source repository states its applicable open-source/public-domain licensing terms. Third-party libraries, content and linked services remain subject to their own licenses and terms.
11. Availability and changes
FORM is a side project and may change, break, lose features, be unavailable or be discontinued. You should keep your own exports if your training history matters to you. Features may be modified to improve safety, privacy, performance or maintainability.
12. Disclaimer and limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FORM is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties that recommendations, calculations, rankings or data will be accurate, complete, safe for every person, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Applicable law
Applicable mandatory consumer, privacy and safety laws may depend on where you live and how the service is operated. These Terms do not attempt to waive mandatory rights granted by law.
14. Changes to these Terms
If FORM materially changes its functionality, data practices or commercial model, these Terms should be updated. Continued use after a clearly disclosed update may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.
